James.March 3, 1899. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Howard L.
James. Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place the name of Howard L. James, late sergeant of Company G of the Ninth Indiana Volunteers, on the pension roll and pay him a pension at the rate of eighteen dollars per month, subject to the conditions and limitations of the pension laws and in lieu of the pension he now receives. Approved, March 3, 1899.
