Knowlan.March 3, 1899. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Stephen A.
Knowlan. Pension increased. Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to place upon the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Stephen A. Knowlan, late a recruit of Denman’s detachment, United States Mounted Riflemen, Mexican war, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month, the same to be in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, March 3, 1899.
