CHAP. 387.— An Act To provide for a public building at Winston, North Carolina. March 2, 1899. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the Secretary of theWinston, N. C.Public building authorized. Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to acquire by purchase, condemnation, or otherwise, a site, and cause to be erected thereon a suitable building for the use and accommodation of the United States post-office and other Government offices in the city of Winston and State of North Carolina.
The cost of said site and buildingLimit of cost. shall not exceed the sum of fifty thousand dollars. Approved, March 2, 1899.
