CHAP. 376.— An Act Making an appropriation to carry out the obligations of the treaty between the United States and Spain concluded December tenth, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight. March 2, 1899. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That for the purpose of carryingSpain.Payment to, of treaty of Paris obligation.*Post*, p. 1756. out the obligations of the treaty between the United States and Spain concluded at Paris on the tenth day of December, anno Domini eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, to become immediately available upon the exchange of the ratifications of said treaty, there is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of twenty million dollars.
