March 1, 1899. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United George Hughes.Pension.States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, directed to place on the pension rolls, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of George Hughes, late a soldier in the Mexican war, at the rate of twenty-five dollars per month, in lieu of the pension he is now receiving under certificate ten thousand five hundred and seventeen.
