Byrd.Pension increased.States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and lie is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Susan C. Byrd, widow of Hugh L. Byrd, late of Company F, Thirteenth Regiment United States Infantry, in the Mexican war, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Approved, February 28, 1899.
