May 7, 1898. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Joseph Montieth.Pension increased.States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roil, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Joseph Montieth, late a private of Company G, Third Regiment Maine Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension of forty dollars per month, in lieu of the pension he is now receiving.
