February 14, 1899. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That Joseph Tousaint, aliasJoseph Tousaint, alias Touzin.May prosecute certain claim in Court of Claims.
Touzin, having served as a teamster with the United States Army during the war of the rebellion, and with the Regular Army before the late war, be, and he is hereby, relieved from any disability under the laws of the United States Army from any defect of naturalization, and is hereby authorized to prosecute Indian depredation claim numbered eight thousand six hundred and ninety-nine, now pending in the United States Court of Claims, and to receive judgment therein, the same as if be had been naturalized under the laws of the United States at the date of the loss.
