Chap. XIV.— An Act to remit the duties on a statue of George Washington.Feb. 24, 1820. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Duties on a statue of George Washington remitted to North Carolina. States of America, in Congress assembled,* That the duties which have accrued, or may accrue to the United States, upon the importation of a statue of George Washington, by order, and for the use, of the State of North Carolina, be, and they are hereby remitted. Approved, February 24, 1820.
