Chap. VIII.— An Act making further provision for repairing the public buildings. Jan. 27, 1818.[Obsolete.] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled*, That for the purpose of re pairing Act of March 3, 1817, ch. 91. 200,000 dollars appropriated, to be applied by the commissioner of public buildings under the direction of the President of the United States.the public buildings, a sum, not exceeding two hundred thousand dollars, be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, to be paid out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, and to be applied by the commissioner, under the direction of the President of the United States.
