CHAP. 97.— An Act For the relief of Ellis H. Roberts. January 26, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Ellis H. Roberts.Payment to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay to Ellis H. Roberts, late assistant treasurer of the United States at New York City, New York, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of eight hundred dollars, the said sum of money representing a loss incurred in the said office of said assistant treasurer, without default or negligence on his part, and made good to the Government by him. Approved, January 26, 1897.
