CHAP. 97.— An Act For the relief of Frederick B. Betts, surviving partner of the firm of Betts, Nichols and Company. April 13, 1896. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Betts, Nichols and Company.Payment to surviving partner.That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Frederick B. Betts, surviving partner of the firm of Betts, Nichols and Company, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars, being the amount of Treasury draft numbered fifty-four hundred and fifty-three on Treasury interior warrant numbered forty-eight hundred and one, dated March first, eighteen hundred and sixty-one, and drawn upon the Assistant Treasurer of the United States at New Orleans in favor of Sampson and Hendricks.
