CHAP. 74.— An Act Granting a pension to Henderson Marple. January 20, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Henderson Marple.Pension restored and increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll the name of Henderson Marple, late a private in Captain A. J. Hart’s company, Morgan County Provisional Enrolled Missouri *Proviso.*Retention forbidden.Militia, at the rate of twelve dollars per month: *Provided,* That said pension shall be paid to Henderson Marple, and no part of said pension shall be retained by any official of the Government by reason of any pension heretofore paid to said Henderson Marple.
