CHAP. 60.— An Act To increase the pension of Andrew R. Ladd. January 16, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and, House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Andrew R. Ladd.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll the name of Andrew R. Ladd, late a private in Company E, Thirtieth Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension of twelve dollars per month, subject to the provisions and Vol. 26, p. 182.*Proviso.*In lieu of former pension.limitations of the Act of June twenty-seventh, eighteen hundred and ninety: *Provided,* That this shall be in lieu of any pension he is now receiving.
Received by the President, January 5, 1897. [Note by the Department of State.—The foregoing act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.]
