CHAP. 402.— An Act Granting a pension to Edward C. Spofford. March 3, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the Secretary of theEdward C. Spofford.Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll the name of Edward C. Spofford, late a sergeant of Company F, Thirty-fifth Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry and pay him a pension of thirty dollars per month from and after the passage of this Act, in lieu of the pension now received by him. Approved, March 3, 1897.
