CHAP. 368.— An Act Granting an honorable discharge to Seth Porter Church, alias Samuel Church. March 2, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the Secretary of War be,Seth Porter Church, alias Samuel Church.Granted honorable discharge. and he is hereby, authorized and directed to grant an honorable discharge to Seth Porter Church, alias Samuel Church, from Battery I, Second United States Artillery, to date August twenty-ninth, eighteen hundred and forty-eight: *Provided,* That the passage of this Act shall*Proviso.*No pay, etc. not entitle such soldier to any pay or allowances prior to the date of such discharge.
