CHAP. 354.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Elizabeth W. Sutherland. June 6, 1896. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the Secretary of theElizabeth W. Sutherland.Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Elizabeth W. Sutherland, widow of the late Charles Sutherland, deceased, formerly Surgeon-General of the United States Army, at the rate of fifty dollars per month, which rate of fifty dollars per month shall be in lieu of the pension she is now receiving.
