CHAP. 348.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Caroline E. Purdum. June 6, 1896. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Caroline E. Purdum.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Caroline E. Purdum, widow of Elijah F. Purdum, late private in Company F, Thirtieth Regiment, and assistant surgeon Eighty-ninth Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and to pay her a pension of twelve dollars per month in lieu of the pension she is now receiving.
