CHAP. 33.— An Act Granting a pension to Lydia Chapman. January 16, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the Secretary of theLydia Chapman.Pension. Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Lydia Chapman, dependent mother of Samuel J. Chapman, late an employee of the Quartermaster’s Department, United States Volunteers, and to pay her a dependent pension from and after the passage of this Act, at twelve dollars per month. Approved, January 16, 1897.
