CHAP. 301.— An Act To increase the pension of Kate Grant. May 30, 1896. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Kate Grant.Pension increased.That the Secretary of the Interior be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to increase the pension of Kate Grant, widow of the late Captain Charles E. Grant, of FIFTY-FOURTH CONGRESS. Sess. I. Chs. 301, 302, 305, 306. 1896.739Company F, Fortieth Regiment New Jersey Infantry Volunteers, to twenty dollars per month, in lieu of the pension now received by her, as evidenced by pension certificate numbered two hundred and seventy-eight thousand and seventy-nine.
