CHAP. 289.— An Act Granting a pension to William Grose. May 30, 1896. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, William Grose.Pension increased.That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of William Grose, of Newcastle, Henry County. Indiana, late a brigadier-general of the United States Volunteers in the Union Army, at the rate of seventy-five dollars per month, said pension to be in lieu of that which he now receives. Approved, May 30, 1896.
