CHAP. 273.— An Act To increase the pension of Clara L. Nichols, widow of Brevet Major-General W. A. Nichols. February 20, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Clara L. Nichols.Pension increased. That the pension of Clara L. Nichols, widow of the late Brevet Major-General W. A. Nichols, of the United States Army, be, and it is hereby, increased from thirty dollars per month to fifty dollars per month, and the Secretary of the Interior is hereby authorized and directed to place the name of the said Clara L.
Nichols upon the pension roll at the rate of fifty dollars per month, subject to the provisions of existing pension laws. Approved, February 20, 1897.
