CHAP. 261.— An Act Granting a pension to Maud Ardelle Bliss. May 28, 1896. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Maud Ardelle Bliss.Pension.That the Secretary of the Interior be and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Maud Ardelle Bliss, dependent and invalid daughter of John W. Bliss, late of Company B, Fourth Regiment Vermont Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month, payable to her legally constituted guardian.
