CHAP. 249.— An Act For the relief of Barzilla C. Hudson. February 17, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the Secretary of War be,Barzilla C. Hudson.Granted honorable discharge. and is hereby, authorized to remove the charge of desertion from the military record of Barzilla C. Hudson, late of Battery D, Fourth United States Artillery, and grant him an honorable discharge to date May twenty-sixth, eighteen hundred and sixty-five: *Provided,* That no*Proviso.*No pay, etc. pay, bounty, or other allowance shall become due or payable by virtue of this Act.
Received by the President, February 5, 1897. [Note by the Department of State.—The foregoing act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.]
