CHAP. 244.— An Act Relating to the improvement of Eastchester Creek, State of New York. February 17, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of War be,Eastchester Creek, New York.Expenditure of appropriation for improving.Vol. 28, p. 347.*Ante*, p. 210. and he is hereby, authorized, in his discretion, to expend the whole or any portion of any appropriation heretofore made for the improvement of Eastchester Creek, in the State of New York, in accordance with the surveys and report for such improvement, upon that portion of the improvement included in recent surveys extending the improvement to the head of tide water.
