CHAP. 220.— An Act For the relief of Peter Young. February 12, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Peter Young.Granted honorable discharge. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to correct the military record of Peter Young, late a private in Company K, Fifth Missouri State Militia Cavalry, by removing therefrom the charge of desertion, and grant him an honorable discharge as of the date June twenty-second, eighteen hundred and sixty-three when his company of the Fifth Missouri State Militia Cavalry was mustered out of service.
Received by the President, February 1, 1897. [Note by the Department of State.—The foregoing act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.]
