CHAP. 209.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Silas M. Stevens. February 9, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Silas M. Stevens.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Silas M. Stevens, late of the United States steamer Lackawanna, and grant him a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month, in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, February 9, 1897.
