May 18, 1896. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, A. P. Brown.Payment to.That the sum of eight hundred and eighty-eight dollars and ninety-eight cents be, and is hereby, appropriated out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of reimbursing A. P. Brown, late postmaster at Le Mars, Iowa, for loss sustained by reason of burglary of postage stamps and money from said post-office on January ninth, eighteen hundred and ninety-four.
