CHAP. 195.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to John R. Row, of Toronto, Kansas. February 8, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * John R. Row.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to increase the pension of John R. Row, of Toronto, Kansas, late of Company B, Third Illinois Infantry, Mexican war, and pay him a pension of thirty dollars per month in lieu of the pension now received by him, said increase of pension to be paid subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws.
Received by the President, January 27, 1897. [Note by the Department of State.—The foregoing act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.]
