CHAP. 186.— An Act For the relief of Frederick Van Guilder. May 15, 1896. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Frederick Van Guilder.Granted honorable discharge.That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to remove the charge of desertion standing against Frederick Van Guilder upon the records of Company K, One hundred and twenty-third New York Volunteers, and to issue to him an honorable discharge to date July sixth, eighteen hundred and sixty-three. Sec. 2. That this Act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. Approved, May 15, 1896.
