CHAP. 177.— An Act To provide an American register for the bark Ceres. February 8, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Commissioner of “Ceres.” Bark. Granted American register and name changed to “Lichtenfels Brothers.”Navigation is hereby authorized and directed to cause the hark Ceres, built in Maine, recently owned by foreigners, but now owned by citizens of the United States, to be registered as a vessel of the United States, under the name of Lichtenfels Brothers. Approved, February 8, 1897.
