CHAP. 165.— An Act For the relief of Captain George H. Perkins. May 9, 1896. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, George H. Perkins.Place on retired list changed.R.S., sec. 1443, p. 253.That Captain George H. Perkins, who was retired as captain after forty years’faithful service upon the active list of the United States Navy, as provided by section fourteen hundred and forty-three, Revised Statutes, and who had honorable service in the late civil war, shall be placed on the retired list with the rank of commodore without the corresponding increased pay, but receiving only the retired pay of captain of the Navy.
