CHAP. 162.— An Act Empowering and directing the Secretary of the Navy to furnish not more than four pieces of condemned cannon to the village of New Rochelle, New York.May 8, 1896. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Navy Condemned cannon. Donated to New Rochelle, N. Y. is hereby authorized to furnish to the village of New Rochelle, New York, for use in completing the soldiers’ monuments in that place, not more than four pieces of condemned cannon, if, in his judgment, it may be consistent with the public service: *Provided,* That the United States *Proviso.* Expense. shall not be subjected to any expense on account of such donation.
