CHAP. 153.— An Act For the relief of Cogswell and Company. February 4, 1897. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Cogswell and Company.Payment to. That the Commissioner of Internal Revenue be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to reopen the refunding claim of Cogswell and Company, of Saint Louis, Missouri, for one thousand three hundred and six dollars, which claim is now on file in his office, to examine it, and allow so much thereof as he may find to have been paid in excess of the amount required by law; and the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby authorized and required to pay such amount as is allowed by the Commissioner of Internal Revenue, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
