CHAP. 78.— An Act For the relief of the heirs and creditors of Elizabeth Townsend.May 25, 1894. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Elizabeth Townsend or Moore.Real estate purchased by, relieved from forfeiture. That all real estate lying in the District of Columbia heretofore purchased by and conveyed to Elizabeth Townsend, otherwise known as Elizabeth Moore, and possessed by the said Elizabeth Townsend, otherwise known as Elizabeth Moore, at the time of her death, be relieved and exempted from the Vol. 27, p. 476.operation of an Act entitled “An Act to restrict the ownership of real estate in the Territories to American citizens,” approved March third, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, and all forfeitures incurred by force of said Act are, in respect to such real estate, hereby remitted.
