CHAP. 58.— An Act To remove the charge of desertion standing against the name of Edward J. Butler.February 4, 1895. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Edward J. Butler.Charge of desertion removed. That the Secretary of War be, and be is hereby, authorized and directed to remove the charge of desertion standing against Edward J. Butler, late a musician in the Seventeenth Indiana Volunteers, and issue to him an honorable *Proviso*.No pay, etc.discharge: *Provided*, That no pay or emoluments shall become due by reason of the passage of this Act. Approved, February 4, 1895.
