CHAP. 47.— An Act To remove the charge of desertion from the military record of James McConnell, late private in Company 15, Fifth Regiment Connecticut InfantryJanuary 25, 1895. 1026FIFTY-THIRD CONGRESS. James McConnell.Charge of desertion removed.*Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to remove the charge of desertion from the military record of James McConnell, late private in Company B, Fifth Regiment Connecticut Infantry, and grant him an *Proviso*.No pay, etc.honorable discharge: *Provided*, That no pay, bounty, or emolument shall become due or pension granted by virtue of the passage of this Act.
