CHAP. 42.— An Act To remove the charge of desertion standing against John W. Wacker.March 19, 1894. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,John W. Wacker, alias Walker.Charge of desertion removed. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to remove the charge of desertion standing against the name of John W. Wacker, who enlisted under the name of John Walker, as a private in Company Land transferred to Company I, Ninth New Jersey Volunteer Infantry, and now of Company F, Second United States ‘Infantry, absent without leave from Company I, Ninth New Jersey Volunteer Infantry, after September ninth, eighteen hundred and sixty-three, he having had twenty-five years of faithful service since his absence without leave under his *Proviso*.No pay, etc.original enlistment: *Provided*, No back pay or pension shall be granted by virtue of the passage of this Act.
