CHAP. 350.— An Act To authorize the Biloxi the Back Bay Bridge Company to construct the maintain a bridge over that portion of the bay of Biloxi, in the State of Mississippi, known as Back Bay.August 27, 1894. *Be it enacted by the Senate the House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Biloxi the Back Bay Bridge Company may bridge Back Bay. Sec. 2. Sec. 4. That no bridge shall be erected or maintained under theFree navigation. authority of this Act which shall at any time substantially or materially obstruct the free navigation of said Back Bay. And if any bridge erected under such authority shall, in the opinion of the Secretary of War, obstruct such navigation, he is hereby authorized to cause such change or alteration of said bridge to be made as will effectually obviate such obstruction; all of such changes or alterations shall be madeChanges. at the expense of the owners of said bridge.
Sec. 5. That construction of the bridge shall not be commenced untilSecretary of War to approve plans. a copy of the Coast Survey chart of said Back Bay, with the proposed line of crossing the location of draw marked upon it, the detailed plan showing width of draw the character of proposed construction of bridge the draw, shall have been submitted to the approved by the Secretary of War. Sec. 6.
