CHAP. 188.— An Act To place Dunbar R. Ransom on the retired list of the Army.August 1, 1894. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Dunbar R. Ransom.May be appointed on Amy retired list. That the President of the United States be, and he is hereby, authorized to nominate and, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to appoint Dunbar R. Ransom, late captain in the Third Artillery of the Army, a captain in the Army, and to place him on the unlimited retired list.
Received by the President, July 20, 1894. [Note by the Department of State.—The foregoing Act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.]
