CHAP. 155.— An Act For the relief of James Phelan, internal-revenue collector at Detroit, Michigan.March 1, 1895. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,James Phelan.Payment to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to James 1038FIFTY-THIRD CONGRESS. Sess. III. Chs. 155–158, 196. 1895. Phelan, United States collector of internal revenue at Detroit, Michigan, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of six hundred dollars and five cents, the amount stolen from the vault in the internal-revenue office on the night of April thirteenth, eighteen hundred and ninety-four.
