CHAP. 141.— An Act For the relief of Charles A. Edwards.February 28, 1895. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Charles A. Edwards.Credit allowed in postal accounts. That the Postmaster-General be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to enter two hundred dollars as a credit on the account of Charles A. Edwards, late the postmaster at Prattville, in the State of Alabama, with the Post-Office Department of the Government of the United States, the same being the amount of money received by said Edwards as said postmaster and transmitted by him to the postmaster at Montgomery, in the said State, and which was lost in transit between said places without fault on the part of said Edwards.
