CHAP. 229.— An act to establish weather bureau stations on Middle and Thunder Bay islands in Lake Huron.July 22, 1892. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Weather Bureau. That the sum of fifteen thousand dollars be appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not Appropriation for stations, Lake Huron.otherwise appropriated, or so much of the same as may be necessary, for the establishment of weather bureau stations on Middle and Thunder Bay islands in Lake Huron, the said sum to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of Agriculture in fitting up proper stations, with necessary appliances, on the said islands, and in establishing telegraphicTelegraph to Alpena, Mich. communication between Alpena, Michigan, and the said islands.
