CHAP. 203.— An Act to correct the military record of Lieutenant Cornelius McLean.July 18, 1892. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Cornelius McLean.Military record corrected. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to revoke and set aside the special orders of the War Department of July seventh, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, dishonorably dismissing Lieutenant Cornelius McLean, late second lieutenant of Company G, of the Thirty-ninth New York Volunteers, “for absence without leave and failing to file the necessary surgeon’s certificate of disability and make reports to his regiment as required by the regulations of the War Department” and to issue to him a discharge as of date July seventh, eighteen hundred and sixty-four on recommendation of medical board at Annapolis, No pay, etc.Maryland, provided no pay or allowances shall be deemed authorized by this act.
