CHAP. 955.— An Act granting a pension to Thomas Redmond, late private Company K, Fourth United States Infantry.September 26, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and. House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Thomas Redmond.Pension. That by reason of the applicant. Thomas Redmond, while on duty as teamster in the employ of the Quartermaster’s Department and en route transporting military supplies from Snake River Depot to Harney Depot (later Fort Colville, Washington Territory), Colville, Washington Territory, in November, eighteen hundred and fifty-nine, having incurred severe and permanent physical injury by freezing his feet, necessitating the amputation of all the toes of Loth feet, he is hereby granted a pension of thirty dollars a month: and the Commissioner of Pensions is hereby directed to place his name on the pension-roll at that rate.
