CHAP. 952.— An Act to remove the charge of desertion against William Gibbon.September 25, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,William Gibbon.Charge of desertion removed. That the Secretary of War be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to remove the charge of desertion from the name of Enoch Venter, of Afton, Wyoming, late of Company H, Eighth Kansas Volunteers, he being marked and charged as a deserter, and to amend the military record of said soldier so charged as a deserter, and to pay him all pay, bounty, and allowances as may be due him without reference to the charge of desertion.
