CHAP. 897.— An Act for the relief of the heirs or legal representatives of Robert J. Baugness, deceased.September 4, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Robert J. Baugness.Charge of desertion removed. That the Secretary of War be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to correct the record of Robert J. Baugness, late a private in Company I, Thirty-seventh Illinois Volunteers, so as to remove the charge of desertion from the same; and the proper accounting officers of the TreasuryBounty, etc., to heirs. are directed to pay to the heirs or legal representatives of the said Robert J.
Baugness, deceased, the bounty and allowances that would have been due him had not such charge of desertion appeared against him on the rolls. Approved, September 4, 1890.
