CHAP. 846.— An Act granting a pension to Mary J. Welch, an army nurse in the late war.August 30, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Mary J, Welch.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary J. Welch a voluntary nurse during the war, and pay her a pension during life, of twelve dollars per month. Approved, August 30, 1890.
