CHAP. 656.— An Act for the relief of R. F. Balke, as Mellwood Distillery.March 3, 1891. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,R. F. Balke.Tax on spirits remitted. That the Commissioner of Internal Revenue be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to remit and abate the deficiency tax on thirty-four hundred and fifty-six gallons of spirits assessed against R. F. Balke, as Mellwood Distillery Company, for the months of May and part of June, eighteen hundred and eighty-eight, said deficiency having resulted from an erroneous survey of the said distillery, and not from any fraud or fault of said Balke.
