CHAP. 597.— An Act granting an increase of pension to Elnathan Meade, late of Company C, Forty-fourth New York Volunteers.June 24, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Elnathan Meade.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directedVol. 25, p, 1152. to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Elnathan Meade, late of Company C, forty-fourth New York Volunteers, at the rate of seventy two dollars a month, in lieu of the pension he is now receiving.
